Carolina Caring is looking for a dedicated Preceptor Coordinator and Infection Control Nurse to support our hospice nursing team. In this role, you’ll provide training and guidance to new staff and preceptors, help ensure a smooth onboarding process, and track clinical experience to promote staff success. You’ll also lead our infection control efforts by monitoring patient infections, completing rounds, and reporting findings to leadership to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You’ll collaborate with our Nursing Education Coach on ongoing staff education, maintain BLS Instructor certification, and support the CNA program as needed. This is a great opportunity for a motivated nurse to make a real impact on patient care and staff development.

Employee Type:

Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Minimum Experience:

Three to five years of working in the healthcare industry required. Hospice experience and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations preferred.  

Required Degree:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred. Current unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required. Must maintain CPR certification.
