Carolina Caring is seeking a skilled and compassionate Counselor to work with our pediatric program serving terminally ill children and their families. This role provides emotional support and grief counseling to children and their families as they navigate the unique challenges associated with terminal illness and loss.
The position will primarily support the Mecklenburg County area. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Minimum Experience:
Clinical knowledge, training, and skills to assess patients and families counseling needs. Experience in hospice or healthcare environment preferred. Experience in group facilitation and/or public speaking preferred.
Required Degree:
Bachelor’s degree in human service field with three years’ experience and/or education in the grief and dying process. Master’s degree in counseling or related field or LCSW preferred.
