The Cardinal bird is considered a symbol of hope, joy and good luck. It is also associated with the presence of a loved one who has passed away. Local artists have shared their talents and beautifully captured the essence of the Cardinal to benefit our Cardinal Kids Program. Funds raised from the sale of cards and plush Cardinals will be used for Cardinal Kids Life Enrichment projects, known as Theo’s Gift.
Theo’s Gift was established in memory of Theo Mello, who was deeply loved and celebrated before passing in January 2024. These funds will help us grant wishes and celebrate our Cardinal Kids families and patients at the last stages of their lives.
