Carolina Caring is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide hospice care to our pediatric patients in the Mecklenburg Metro region, including Cabarrus, Rowan, and Iredell counties.
This role focuses on care coordination, individualized care plan development, and comprehensive nursing assessments, ensuring comfort and dignity for both patients and their families. The RN will anticipate and assist with symptom management, including pain control, to enhance the quality of life.
Additionally, the RN will play a vital role in family education and support, helping guide caregivers through the hospice journey. Collaborating with the primary care team, the RN ensures seamless continuity of care across various settings. The position also involves contributing to both formal and informal education for interdisciplinary team members to improve overall patient care.
Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum of three to five years clinical experience with pediatrics required. Must have strong understanding of end-of- life decisions and the ability to understand complex equipment and procedures. Hospice or home health care experienced preferred.
Required Degree:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required. Must maintain CPR certification.
